Chevy Runs Deep at Superbowl XLVI

Over 100 million viewers took in the Superbowl game Sunday night as the New England Patriots and New York giants fought for the win. However, viewers were also interested in the battle going on between  advertisors.  Companies airing commercials during the Superbowl has become a competitive game, and USA Today has picked up on that, creating a "Superbowl Ad Meter." Commercials are ranked on a scale based on viewer voting. Though Doritos and M & M's were ranked funniest and most popular, Chevrolet dominated the subcategory of "Purchase Language." This category measures the effectiveness of commercials resulting in customer interest to purchase a product.

Here is a sample of several Chevrolet Commercials aired during SuperBowl XLVI

 "Happy Grad"
"Chevrolet: Apocalypse"
 "Miss Evelyn"

"Aliens #1"
Aliens # 2

"Joy"

"Stunt Anthem"

Chevrolet also left its mark at the Superbowl by giving away a 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible Centennial Edition to MVP, Eli Manning.
