Chevrolet Puts Young Buyers in Charge

Have you ever envisioned in your mind as a young consumer what the "perfect" car would be? Maybe you pictured its sleek design, shiny paint, smooth leather interior, equipped with all of the latest technological abilities that would keep you in touch with the world around you while out on the road. As great as these dreams were, there was no way of voicing your opinion, so you waited for the manufacturer to come out with what they believed is the model that buyers are looking for.

Chevrolet has taken the concept of allowing consumers to put their ideas into action to a whole new level. More than 90,000 buyers under the age of 30 were surveyed to create two new Chevrolet models, the Code 130R and the Tru 140S.

The TRU 140S concept represents an "affordable exotic" and is designed as a FWD coupe.

The CODE 130R concept represents "functional muscle" and is designed as RWD coupe.

Hear from the designer of the Tru 140S, Nicolas David, as he explains the idea of allowing consumers to input their ideas into the car.

We hope that Chevrolet sets a precedent in allowing buyers to input their ideas into new designs. Well done Chevrolet!
